Discover the possible reason behind Squidward’s constant bad mood, a character from Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob” animation
Known as one of the most popular animated series of all time, “SpongeBob” was released by Nickelodeon in 1999, and follows the routine of a yellow sponge who, with his clumsy way of living, gets involved in several unlikely adventures in the Rift. do Biquíni, a peculiar city located at the bottom of the sea.
On his adventures, Bob is often accompanied by his best friend, Patrick Estrela, and his neighbor and co-worker, Squidward, who always appears to be in a bad mood. But, have you ever wondered why he’s never in a good mood?
Negative view
During the episodes, we can notice that Squidward is the complete opposite of Patick and Bob. While the sponge and the starfish are always smiling, playing, happy and optimistic, Mollusco only appears with a frown, with harsh responses and unwilling to do anything other than play his clarinet.
As reported by the ScreenRant portal, the real reason behind his bad attitude is because the character has a negative view of life, doesn’t like his work, and is narcissistic.
Some fan theories even claim that Squidward would still be a very perfectionist, and is never satisfied with anything he does. Despite being extremely talented in the artistic world, and a great clarinetist, he is never 100% happy with his performance, making him always moody.
Meanwhile, Patrick and SpongeBob would follow the mindset that being happy is what matters. Even if the two of you don’t do something perfectly, if you had fun together, there’s no reason to be mad.
SpongeBob’s Restaurant
In addition to having fun with the animation, Brazilian fans will also be able to enjoy a unique experience at the first official SpongeBob restaurant here in Brazil. Called “Bob Esponja — Burger & Restaurant”, the establishment will open next month in Itaim Bibi, in São Paulo, with more than a thousand square meters, and capacity for up to 254 people.
