ABACA:
The family was seen this Saturday, March 30, discreetly blending in with the crowds on the streets of the Spanish capital during the procession of Our Lady of Solitude and Abandonment.
Perhaps they thought that they would not be recognized. However, this Sunday, March 31, several people saw them strolling through the streets of Madrid to participate in the holy demonstration on Easter Day. King Felipe VI of Spain, his wife Queen Letizia and their two daughters, Leonor and Sofia, took part in the “Virgin of Solitude and Abandonment” procession in the Spanish capital this Saturday, March 30.
Dressed like everyone else, the members of the royal family seemed at ease among the citizens. Umbrella in hand, Queen Letizia of Spain wore a Nina Ricci wool coat, Massimo Dutti leather bag, jeans and black boots. Her daughter, Princess Leonor of Spain, wore a navy sweater and jeans by Sezane, while her sister wore a bomber jacket from Zara. The patriarch had slipped into a dark blue sack.
It was a day of reunion for the Spanish royal family. Indeed, Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia (age 16) are both on holiday over the Easter holidays. The first is receiving military education from August 2023, and the second started his school career at UWC Atlantic College in Wales and is preparing his bachelor’s degree there.
