Find out when ‘X-Men 97’, the new Marvel animated series that follows the classic 90s animation, can be watched on Disney+
On the morning of this Thursday, the 15th, Marvel surprised fans of the publisher’s mutant team by revealing that the animation “X-Men 97” will debut on March 20th of this year directly on Disney+.
In addition to the premiere date, the studio also published the first official trailer for the production, revealing the visuals of Cyclops/Scott Summers; Wolverine/James “Logan” Howlett; Rogue / Anna Marie Raven; Storm / Ororo Munroe; Beast / Dr. Henry “Hank” McCoy; Gambit/Remy LeBeau; Jean Grey; Bishop; Jubilee; Magneto; Sunspot; Morfo and Professor X / Charles Xavier; check out!
More than that, a poster for the production, which is a direct continuation of the animated series aired between 1992 and 1997 that featured 76 episodes, was also released; look:
The new animation will be set a few months after Professor Xavier’s departure for the Shi’ar world, as revealed by the production’s showrunner, Beau DeMayoduring a virtual event celebrating the X-Men’s 60th anniversary last year (via The Direct).
It is worth remembering that the five original seasons of X-Men can be found in the catalog of Disney’s streaming platform, Disney+.
