Before enlisting, RM and V shared emotional farewell letters to fans

On the morning of this Monday, the 11th, RM It is Vmembers of the BTS, reported to the Korean Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Korea, to begin their mandatory military enlistment. The moment was attended by all the members of the group, who made a point of saying goodbye to their friends in person.

Moments before enlisting, RM It is V they also said goodbye to ARMYs, BTS’ official fandom, through emotional letters shared through Instagram Stories and the Weverse platform. Check out the full translation:

“Hello everyone I love,

That day has finally arrived.

I feel like there were so many things I wanted to say to you, but now that I’m here, I can’t find the words.

I was very happy to be able to live like [membro do] BTS for the last 10 years.

I’ve said this countless times, but an end is also a beginning!

I have faith and I have no doubt that after this passes, new good things will be waiting for us.

Seokjin hyung and Hoseok, who had to go through this first, must have had a much harder time than us.

It may be a little late, but seeing them do such a good job gives me incomparable courage.

I believe this 18-month period, which can be seen as long or short depending on how we look at it, will give us new and unknown inspiration and learning.

Although I too am scared and afraid, what could be more comforting than the fact that there is something to anticipate and look forward to during this uncertain time?

In addition to my own work, it is probably your love.

The fact that I am a person that someone constantly remembers and that someone looks forward to — even though there are times when I feel lonely and melancholy, I think I already feel filled with that love inside.
