“On December 4 of this year, as part of the criminal process, the service carried out criminal procedural actions in six facilities related to the Latvian company in Riga, where a large number of documents and storage media were taken for further investigation,” the publication writes.
The Latvian Security Service states that three people associated with the company have been detained. Two of them are in custody, and a preventive measure unrelated to deprivation of liberty has been applied to the third.
It was previously reported that Latvia closed two checkpoints on the border with the Russian Federation.
It has also been reported that Latvia may deport more than 3,000 Russian citizens.
