Answering questions from fans on a live broadcast, Jungkook, from BTS, didn’t hesitate to reveal what his favorite anime is; find it out!
Known as anime in Brazil, Japanese animations, which are generally adapted from manga, have surpassed the borders of their country of origin, as, through their unique traits and brilliant narratives, they have conquered — and continue to conquer — a legion of fans around Worldwide.
So much so, that this type of production has become popular even in the world of idols, as the theme has become one of the topics covered by Jungkookof BTSin a broadcast on the Stationhead platform (via Jovem Nerd), where he revealed what his favorite anime is.
What is Jungkook’s favorite anime?
In this ocasion, Jungkook he participated in the Listening Party to promote his first solo album entitled “GOLDEN”, where he also answered some questions. Among them she clarified her favorite anime was “Jujutsu Kaisen”and took advantage of the moment to reproduce one of the animation’s most famous phrases: “Ryoiki Tenkai“ (“Domain Expansion” in Portuguese).

Jujutsu Kaisen emerged as a manga written and illustrated by Gege Akutami which hit shelves in 2018 and already has 24 volumes. The plot began to be adapted into anime format in 2020 through the production of the MAPPA studio, in addition to receiving a feature film titled “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”, which was released in April 2022 in Brazil.
On Crunchyroll, the anime has the following description: “Suffering, regret, shame: humans’ negative feelings become Curses, causing terrible accidents that can even lead to death. And to make matters worse, Curses can only be exorcised by other Curses. One day, to save friends who were being attacked by Curses, Yuji Itadori swallows Ryomen-Sukuna’s finger, absorbing his Curse. He then decides to enroll at the Tokyo Technical College of Sorcery, an organization that combats Curses… and so begins the heroic legend of the boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse.”
