Charles Michel stressed that “the unity of the EU requires constant effort,” and Orban praised the meeting as “useful.”
European Council President Charles Michel and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke on Monday, November 27, in the Hungarian capital Budapest. This was reported by European Truth.
Michelle at her place in X reported that he came to Hungary for consultations with the country’s prime minister in preparation for the European Council summit in mid-December.
“The unity of the EU requires constant effort, and it is our main strength,” he stressed.
Orbán also later commented on the X visit of the head of the European Council. The head of the Hungarian government said the meeting was “useful,” but gave no details.
As we have already written, Viktor Orban threatens to block all EU aid to Ukraine, as well as further movement of our country in the bloc, if EU leaders do not agree to reconsider their entire strategy for supporting Kyiv.
