ITZY’s Lia’s health status has been updated, in addition to the release of the idol’s first solo track
This Friday, the 17th, JYP Entertainment made a statement updating the health status and hiatus of Leah, by ITZY. The idol has been taking a break from her activities since September due to concerns about her health. Check out the agency’s statement, which was shared by the Soompi portal:

This is an announcement about ITZY member Lia’s status and her upcoming activities.
Currently, Lia is experiencing tension and anxiety symptoms when carrying out scheduled activities. She was diagnosed with anxiety disorder as a result of an examination at a specialized medical institution, and is currently focusing on treatment.
After a proper discussion with Lia and the members, it was decided that Lia will be absent from the production of Lia’s new album. [ITZY] in January 2024, as well as his world tour, in order to consider recovering his health as the top priority.
For fans who might be upset by the news, Lia’s solo track “Blossom”, which was prepared in advance, will be included on the album, and a lyric video was revealed today. We ask for warm support and love from many fans.

As promised in the statement, the company released the lyric video for the solo track by Leah. Look!
Leah also commented on the hiatus, in a handwritten letter that was shared on the girl group’s Instagram. Look!
