This was stated by the head of the Dutch Ministry of Defense, Kaisa Ollongren.
According to her, this decision means that Ukraine’s support in the war against Russia remains unshakable.
This amount is intended primarily for military support: supply of ammunition, maintenance of equipment and weapons, and increased cybersecurity.
Also, part of the funds will be spent on the restoration of Ukraine.
After the adoption of the latest package, the total amount of support provided by the Netherlands to Ukraine is about 7.5 billion euros.
On November 17, it also became known that Finland would transfer the 20th package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of about 100 million euros. Thus, the total amount of assistance to Ukraine from Finland will be 1.5 billion euros.
