With contracts expiring since August, YG Entertainment speaks once again about the status of negotiations with BLACKPINK
This Tuesday, the 14th, YG Entertainment made new updates about negotiations to renew BLACKPINK’s exclusive contracts. In a note that was published by several South Korean media outlets, the agency released its quarterly report and commented on the girl group’s situation:
As of the date of publication (of this report, November 14th), the exclusive contract with the artist [BLACKPINK] is being negotiated for renewal. The final result will be announced later through disclosure of the main management issues related to investment decisions.”
It is worth remembering that the latest updates about the renewal of the girls’ contracts also said that the company and the group were in negotiations. The link between the girl group and the agency expired in August this year and, since then, there has been no confirmed information, other than speculation.
