Disney will launch a special campaign for Children’s Day

The Walt Disney Company Brasil will transform hours of play into donations! The campaign entitled “Play and Donate” was created by the company especially to celebrate Children’s Day 2023, with the aim of encouraging families to spend quality time and play together.

To this end, Disney Brasil will install a “Toy Meter” on Avenida Paulista, at number 1776, that is, an information panel will be placed where it will be possible to view the total hours played and the corresponding amount in reais that will be donated to Instituto Gerando Falcons.

In this way, every hour played will be converted into R$50.00 in donation to the Gerando Falcões Institute – a social development ecosystem that accelerates the impact power of favela leaders through sport, culture, professional qualifications, economic development and citizenship.

At the “Brinquedometer” location, there will also be two Blitz Rádio Disney actions held on the last two Sundays of the month, where participants will be able to take quizzes, and enjoy live prizes and prize draws, all in partnership with Rádio Disney.

Furthermore, the Disney Play and Donate campaign will offer the possibility of virtual participation, where each post made on social media using the hashtag #DisneyBrincarEDoar during moments of family fun will represent an hour of play, enabling families to participate directly from their homes.

The campaign will also make 10 physical Disney Play and Donate spaces available in selected toy stores throughout Brazil. These spaces will be equipped with recreation areas and timers, which will be in capitals such as São Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Brasília, Recife, Salvador, Manaus, among others. Upon entering the play space, the countdown will begin, recording the hours for donations.

“Brincar e Doar” will also have digital influencers, digital media, urban furniture and a special film, which can now be watched on the campaign website.
