Lviv region will deploy 50 additional mobile groups to shoot down suicide bombers

    In the Lviv region they plan to create 50 additional mobile groups that will be engaged in shooting down kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type.

    The head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxim Kozitsky, announced this today, September 25, during a briefing on preparing the region for the autumn-winter period.

    We are now working together with socially responsible business, the West air command plus the terrorist defense brigade to set up an additional 50 mobile groups to destroy the Shaheds,” Kozitsky noted.

    In addition, Kozitsky noted, measures are now being taken to equip Ukrenergo stations with additional equipment for protection against missiles and drones.
