Last Tuesday, the 15th, the grand final of the reality show “Queendom Puzzle” took place, which brought together soloists and members of already debuted girlgroups to compete for places in the new girl group EL7Z UP.
During the last program, presented by Taeyeon, from Girls’ Generation, the public found out which seven idols will be part of the project. Are they: yeeun (CLC), Yeonhee (Rocket Punch), Yeoreum (WJSN), Kei (Lovelyz), Yuki (PURPLE KISS), nana (woo!ah!) and Hwiseo (H1-KEY).
Yesterday, Mnet, the broadcaster responsible for the program, revealed that the expected debut of EL7Z UP should take place in September, however, no date has yet been set. Soon after, the new girlgroup should embark on their first global tour, where they already have two performances scheduled in Japan: in Saitama on October 22nd, and in Osaka on the 24th of the same month.
But does not stop there! EL7Z UP also has a confirmed performance at the 2023 MAMA Awards, scheduled to take place in November this year. In May, information released by JTBC stated that the renowned awards ceremony was due to take place on November 28 and 29 at Tokyo Dome, Japan.
However, CJ ENM, the company responsible for the event, responded to the report saying that “We are reviewing various options for the event’s schedule and location from various directions.” So far, the venue and official date of the awards have yet to be confirmed.
