This will be Lee Chaeyeon’s first comeback since the release of the hit ‘KNOCK’
She’s coming back! This Thursday, the 17th, the South Korean portal Sports Chosun reported that the soloist Lee Chaeyeona former member of girl group IZ*ONE, will be making their latest comeback this September.
In response to the publication, WM Entertainment, the company responsible for the artist, issued a note saying: “Lee Chaeyeon is preparing to make a comeback in September.” The release date, however, has yet to be revealed.
It is worth remembering that this will be the first comeback of chaeyeon since the release of the mini-album “Over The Moon”, which arrived accompanied by the hit “KNOCK”. Remember the clip!
Lee Chaeyeonpopularly known as chaeyeondebuted in the Korean music industry through IZ*ONE, a 12-member group, formed in 2018 through the reality show Produce 48. The formation announced their official disbandment in April 2021. Their solo debut took place in October 2022, with mini-album “HUSH RUSH”.
In this year, chaeyeon had been announced as one of the contestants of the reality show “Queendom Puzzle”, responsible for uniting female idols who have already debuted to form a new temporary girl group. However, in May, Mnet, the broadcaster responsible for the program, confirmed that the artist had withdrawn from her participation for personal reasons.
The grand finale of “Queendom Puzzle” took place last Tuesday, the 15th, with the announcement of the seven members who will make up the group EL7Z UP. The members are: yeeun (CLC), Yeonhee (Rocket Punch), Yeoreum (WJSN), Kei (Lovelyz), Yuki (PURPLE KISS), nana (woo!ah!) and Hwiseo (H1-KEY).
