Several narratives that appear on the pages of books have become absolute successes, with their stories adapted to other formats — as is the case of ‘Twilight’, a saga created by Stephenie Meyer in 2005, which was soon turned into a film franchise released between 2008 and 2012, in 5 films: ‘Twilight’, ‘New Moon’, ‘Eclipse’, ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ and ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’.
In addition to the plot that addresses the collision of the world of humans, vampires and werewolves through a novel, other great titles gained time on screen, as is the case of ‘Maze Runner’ and ‘Hunger Games’, for example. However, as much as these films have approached a large part of the universe created in works written within the big screens, there are other possibilities for portrayals.

1. Twilight
Bella and Edward appeared for the first time in ‘Twilight’, a book released in 2005 as a result of the creative mind of Meyer. The title, which has 4 books, had the entire narrative adapted for cinema between 2008 and 2015, bringing Kristen Stewart It is Robert Pattinson in leading roles.
The plot will win a series version by Lionsgate, which still does not have a premiere date, synopsis, cast or directors revealed.
2. Harry Potter
Harry Potter, saga created by J.K. Rowling in 1997 and adapted between 2001 and 2010 into 8 feature films, received confirmation this year that the seven books will have their stories addressed on the small screen. The information was revealed during a press event held by Warner Bros. on April 12 of this year.
The news, which won an official announcement video, was also accompanied by information that Rowling will be the producer of the series that will have a completely new cast and will be available on the Max streaming platform (formerly HBO Max).

3. Percy Jackson
The series of books written by Rick Riordan which receives the title of “Percy Jackson” appeared twice in two films released between 2010 and 2013 that were not very well accepted by the public. Still, a new opportunity to bring mythology to the screen came with the confirmation of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”.
The series will be produced by Disney and will feature riordan as one of the producers of the work, while the main cast will be formed by Walker Scobell like Percy Jackson, leahJeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri like Grover Underwood.
It is worth remembering that the initial idea is that each season corresponds to one of the volumes of the literary saga. The official synopsis for the first season reads:
“The fantastical story of a modern-day 12-year-old demigod, Percy Jackson, who is just beginning to come to terms with his supernatural powers when Zeus accuses him of stealing his thunderbolt. Now, Percy will need to cross America to find the weapon and restore order to Olympus.”
4. Eragon
Tickets to watch ‘Eragon’ in theaters were sold in 2006. Without much success, the sequels were cancelled, leaving no news about a new adaptation for theaters until 2022, when the remake began to be developed by Disney.
The saga, which was created by Christopher Paolini, will feature the author himself as co-writer of the series. The production does not yet have a confirmed release date.
