As part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the Man of Steel’s first appearance in the A.Dthe co-president of DC Studios, James Gunn announced that the pre-production of ‘Superman: Legacy’, the film responsible for the cinematographic reboot of the hero, is already at full steam.
The title, which will mark the debut of the new DCU in theaters, received news through a post on Instagram by Gunn, which shows a photo of what may be the script for the film with the caption: “I am honored to be part of the legacy. And what better day than #SupermanAnniversary Day to fully dive into early pre-production on #SupermanLegacy? costumes, production design, and much more now up and running.
When asked by a Twitter user about the cast of the new plot, Gunn responded that there is still no name cast for the feature film, but that tests have already been opened for the roles that should be interpreted in the live-action, as conveyed by Omelete.
Furthermore, Gunn he also revealed details about the changes to the script demanded by Warner, noting that DC Studios has operated independently since he and Peter Safran assumed command of the label, gaining autonomy similar to the dynamics seen with Disney and Marvel Studios, which it has at its head Kevin Feige.
