Dinh Van is thinking big this spring with a new version of its large-format Menottes collection. The leading jeweler of minimalism thus launches its new XXL long necklaces, embellished with decorative stones. These limited editions are available in lapis lazuli, malachite, mother of pearl, onyx. These stones have always animated the creator Jean Din Van, wanting to show their original function in the game between talismans and original jewelry, connecting tradition and know-how. A little history
In 1976, Jean Din Van launched his Menottes collection. The designer, who passed away last July, wanted to introduce an innovative type of bracelet, and thus these bracelets were born, which quickly became synonymous with new modern luxury.
The jeweler’s graphic style possesses itself and imposes the ability to sublimate everyday objects, to take them out of their basic functions to achieve a miraculous form. “I would like my jewelry to be as necessary as a doorknob, with that extra emotion that comes from discovering a brand new object,” she liked to remember. Razor blades, locks, creations with luxury, understated and inventive.
