Apple released the iOS 16.4 update

The update can be installed on smartphones from iPhone 8 to newer models. However, some features may not be available in all regions.

Apple has released an update to the iOS 16.4 operating system, which has added many features. This was reported by The Verge.

In particular, the update brought not only new emojis, but also some other small additions. You can now receive push notifications from Safari web apps on your home screen.

In addition, the new version has so-called predictive input for several more languages, including Ukrainian. There is also support for inputting text using swipes.

Also iOS 16.4 has the following changes:

  • 21 new emoji symbols: animals, hand gestures, different colored hearts;

  • VoiceOver support for maps in the Weather app;

  • notifications for web apps added to the home screen;

  • setting video to fade automatically when flashes of light are detected;

  • Voice isolation for mobile calls prioritizes your voice and blocks out ambient noise.

  • crash detection optimizations on iPhone 14 and 14 Pro;

  • add a purchase request to the parent device;

  • Fixed an issue with certain thermostats when paired with Apple Home.

  • organize duplicate photos and videos in iCloud Shared Photo Library.

Earlier it was reported that Apple will add some innovations for the Ukrainian keyboard.
