Jeremy Renner has that sense of humor that even 30 broken bones can’t take away.
The actor, also impressed seriously injured from a snow plow earlier this month while helping a family member whose car got stuck in the snow, she thanked fans on social media on Saturday for the outpouring of love and support during her recovery .
After returning home from a two-week hospital stay, Renner shared an upbeat sentiment health update with his Twitter followers, where “Avengers” star Chris Evans chimed in with perfectly timed humor to show love for his longtime friend.
The actor’s post quoted on Twitter, Evans jokes he wrote, “This is a difficult mf’er. Has anyone checked the snowcat???”, referring to the massive PistenBully that crushed the star in the crash.
“Sending so much love,” the “Captain America” star added, along with a red heart emoji.
Renner, who said he suffered more than 30 fractures in the crash New Year’s Eve incidenthe joked against Evans with such a perfect answer.
“I love you bro…checked the snowmobile, it needs fuel,” she wrote, followed by a wink and a laughing emoji.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Evans plays the trusted leader of the Avengers, Captain America, and Renner plays Hawkeye.
The pair make up two of the original six cast members of The Avengers and have bonded over the years to battle the forces of evil on the big screen, including battling the near-unstoppable Thanos and taking down the spirited Ultron.
The two longtime co-stars are no strangers to poking fun at each other. When Evans was crowned The People’s Sexiest Man Alive in November, “Thor” actor Chris Hemsworth spilled the tea about how the “Avengers” cast made fun of Evans in his cover photo.
Sharing what happened in the group chat with all of their castmates during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, Hemsworth said, “It was like, [Robert] Downey [Jr.] he said he was arrested, I said it was a good picture, and Jeremy Renner said a lot of things we won’t repeat… Dirty.
On Saturday, Renner was also candid on Instagram about the dozens of broken bones he’s sustained and expressed his gratitude for the “love and connection from family and friends.”
“Morning workouts, resolutions, everything changed on this special New Year’s Eve… It was born out of tragedy for my entire family and quickly focused on making love together,” she captioned the post alongside a photo of herself in bed . , in which he seems to be in physical therapy.
Adding praying hands and heart emojis, she continued: ‘These 30+ broken bones will mend, grow stronger as love and connection with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to all.”
The fatal accident that required Renner to be airlifted to the hospital due to injuries sustained after being crushed, it happened near his home in Reno, Nevada.
He suffered “chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and underwent surgery the next day, Renner’s publicist revealed at the time.
