Jimmy Kimmel isn’t buying Donald Trump’s latest defense that he kept classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home.
The former president sought a victory lap on his social media platform on Monday after the discovery of classified documents at President Joe Biden’s Delaware home, among other things. Trump called the position “thin, unlocked and unprotected.”
He contrasted this with Mar-a-Lago, which he said was “a very secure facility” and said “I have INFORMATION on everybody.”
But Kimmel noticed a major flaw in that argument.
“You had information on everyone except when Kanye brought the white supremacist dinner,” Kimmel said. “Then you had no information.”
He’s referring to a recent Mar-a-Lago dinner Trump had with Kanye West, aka Ye, and white nationalist Nick Fuentes. When the news broke, Trump called Fuentes “a guest I’ve never met and knew nothing about.”
