Two weeks ago, Russian aggressors attacked more than 10 gas production facilities, which account for a third of national production, the NAC noted.

During the heating season, Ukraine needs more than $4 billion for additional natural gas purchases. This was said by the head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz Alexei Chernyshev at a meeting with the ambassadors of the G7 countries and the head of the EU delegation to Ukraine, the company’s service statement.

“According to the preliminary calculations of the Ministry of Energy, taking into account military risks, an additional 3 billion cubic meters of gas are needed for the heating season, which in today’s financial terms is more than $ 4 billion. Here we need the help of our foreign partners,” said Chernyshev.

He noted that since the beginning of the war, Russia has destroyed more than 300 energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. On November 17 alone, the aggressors attacked more than 10 gas production facilities, which make up a third of the national production.

The previous day, it was reported that the United States had found money for Naftogaz for additional gas purchases. We are talking about hundreds of millions of dollars.
