The album that will involve all of the agency’s idols was titled “2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE”
SM Entertainment will give fans a great Christmas present! That’s because, the agency revealed that on December 26, the company’s winter album will be released. Titled “2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE,” the disc will feature all of SM’s idols.
Including names like GoodTVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ GenerationSHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV and aespa, the project will also feature a free online concert involving all of them, the “2023 SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE @KWANGYA”.
The concert will take place on January 1st and will be streamable on SMTOWN LIVE, as well as available on the SMTOWN YouTube channel and the Beyond LIVE global platform for fans around the globe.
Additionally, those who pre-order the “2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE” album between November 29th and December 4th will have the opportunity to participate in the pre-recording of the concert free online.
It is worth remembering that this initiative is a continuation of “SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS”, the online concert that became the most watched in Korea after registering approximately 51.7 million streams in 179 regions worldwide.
Just as it also only became possible after “2021 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU EXPRESS”, SM’s first winter album in 10 years and the agency’s best seller, as it sold more than 416,000 copies in just eight days of release.
