The most popular electric cars in August were the Nissan Leaf, Volkswagen ID.4 and Volkswagen e-Golf.
According to the results of August, 1,489 electric vehicles were added to the Ukrainian fleet, which is almost twice as much as in the same month of 2022, but 14% less than in July of the current year. This was announced yesterday by the profile association Ukravtoprom.

The majority of registered electric vehicles are cars – 1397 units (152 new and 1245 used).
The Nissan Leaf remains the most popular electric car with 297 registrations in August, the Volkswagen ID.4 is second with 154, and the Volkswagen e-Golf is third with 150.
The fourth most popular electric car is the Renault Zoe – 97 units, and the TOP-5 of the August electric car market is closed by the Tesla Model 3, which has 60 registrations.
Of the 92 commercial electric vehicles that received Ukrainian numbers last month, 40 units were Renault Kangoo ZE models.
In general, in January-August, 7366 electric cars passed the first registration in Ukraine, which is 42% more than in the same period of 2021.
Recall that in 2021, sales of electric cars in Ukraine increased by 20% to 8541 units, including 14.2% of registrations against 8.9% last year.
