The hryvnia rate is strengthened in connection with dollars and euros in exchange offices on the last day of working day. This has been confirmed by cash market tracking data on Friday, August 8.
Thus, the average dollar sale rate was reduced by 10 kopecks to 41.65 hryvnias, the euro also fell 10 kopecks at 48.60 hryvnias.
Now, in exchanges, they buy a dollar on average 41.15 hryvnias, and the euro – 47.60 hryvnias each.
In the interbank, the American currency fell at 1 Penny and is now at 41.43-41.46 buying and selling UAH/dollars.
Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to Hryvnia for Friday to the level of 41,4564 hryvnias per 1 dollar (-0,1546). This is the lowest level from June 16th.
The official euro exchange rate is 48.2760 hryvnias per 1 euro (-0.0094 UAH).
Earlier on Friday, it was reported that the Euro became a major currency for new savings from Ukrainians. And according to the NBU, the net purchase of the dollar was worth $ 17 million in July, and the Euro – 312 million in dollars terms.
