Yuan Plus became the first electric crossover created on the new E-platform 3.0 platform and the first byd global car, focusing on sales not only in China, but also dozens of foreign markets.
Since launch, the model has reached 1 million cars sold in 39 months, and the first 300 thousand have been implemented in 14 months. Generally, the Yuan family won the mark of 1.5 million cars sold.
This is the third series of Byd models, which reached one million indicators, after Qin and song lines. In May, only the Yuan model was sold in the amount of 31711 unit, which, despite the backdrop of 21.18% in the annual scale, remains one of the company’s best results.
In China, the model won in February 2022. It included a dynasty series under the Yuan brand, which currently includes four options: Yuan Plus Smart Driving Edition, Yuan Plus Honor Edition, Yuan Up Smart Driving Edition and the Standard Yuan Up.
In China, Yuan Plus is positioned as an affordable model -its price varies from 115800 to 145800 yuan (approximately $ 16110- $ 20280). In other countries, the cost is usually higher – in Europe, the price can reach $ 50 thousand or more.
Generally, in May, BYD sells 382476 cars (an increase of 15.27% compared to last year), of which 89047 has been sold overseas – this is a foreign sales record for a sixth consecutive month. Compared to May 2023, external sales increased by 137.46%.
