Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has received two new versions

The updated Prado has received a soft hybrid installation for Europe and the shipment version for business in the UK.

Toyota expands the lineup Land Cruiser Prado, adding two new changes based on the diesel version of the car at the same time – a soft hybrid for the European market and the commercial version of the commercial, adapted for shipment transportation.

The new change in Europe has received a 48-volt hybrid system. It is based on a familiar 2.8-liter turbodiesel, which works with 8-speed automatic direct shifts. At the same time, the premiere of the Land Cruiser Prado Commercial, was created specifically for business users, took place in the UK. Upon exiting, the model will be exclusive to a diesel version with a capacity of 204 HP, but it will eventually also be available for hybrid change. Both versions maintain a constant full -Wheel drive with a drop of gear and will be able to take a trailer weighing up to 3.5 tons.

The car maintains the overall design of the standard SUV, but the rear windows are replaced with plastic panels, and the second row of chairs is completely removed from the cabin. In its area, a spacious shipment compartment with a volume of 2000 liters with a corrugated metal coating was arranged in its area.

Despite the utilitarian nature, the model received a relatively rich equipment, including 18-inches tires, steering wheel heating and chairs, electrical drivers of driver’s seat and trunk doors, as well as a multimedia system with a 9-inches screen and a rear camera view.

The sale of the Hybrid version of the Land Cruiser in Europe should begin in the near future, though the first delivery to customers will be expected only by the end of 2025. The commercial Prado will be sold in the UK from September for £ 52729.
