The first model, which will be built on the new electric platform for large models, is the Toyota BZ7 Electric Sedan – the future flagship of the brand in China. Its electricity plant from Huawei is combined with a de -electrical motor, an inverter and control unit in a single module, and a multimedia hongmeg multimedia system will be installed in the cabin. The presence of a lidar sensor indicates model readiness for autonomous driving.
Special attention is paid to the development of intellectual systems. GAC Toyota is developing a new electronic architecture, which will support a new generation of systems for helping the driver and “clever” cockpit. According to the plans, by 2026-2027 the voice assistant in the cabin would be a “caring butler”, and in 2028-to a “symbol partner”, capable of intuitively to respond to the driver’s emotions.
In addition, Toyota is working with Xiaomi to introduce multimedia and communications solutions between passengers in front and rear through built -in screens and cameras. In the future, GAC Toyota models will receive an “intellectual digital chassis”, which in real time fits into the suspension settings on road conditions using electromagnetic shock absorbers and a pneumatic system with a double camera – similar to TESLA offered.
At the same time, GAC Toyota plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence not only in cars, but also in the field of labor technologies, quality control and logistics. It is still unknown if these technologies will appear outside China or remain exclusively for the local market.
