The moratorium on state derivatives is part of a greater approach to Ukraine, explained by the Ministry of Finance.
The next payment amount for state derivatives is over $ 665 million, but these payments are not yet made. This is said by the Ukraine Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance on Friday, May 30, published a statement to the Irish Stock Exchange, in which he confirmed that according to the calculations on April 30, 2025, the payment amount for state derivatives, which would be paid on June 2, 2025, was 665 million 453 thousand 507.60 dollars.
However, Ukraine reminds the owners of state derivatives that according to the Government Government on August 27, 2024, a moratorium on payments to these instruments, which will remain in strength until the process of their repair.
In August 2024, cross-defolt regulation was excluded from the conditions of state derivatives. Thus, the default default on a debt obligation will automatically not lead to default in a different way.
“Following the moratorium on payments to state derivatives does not lead to a cross -default for obligations to external state loan bonds and do not threaten state financial stability,” explained the Ministry of Finance.
The moratorium on state derivatives is part of Ukraine’s broader approach, which is revealed in August 2024 during the repair of public debt.
The approach provides for a fair and equal attitude to all account requirements within the perimeter framework of the reinforcement perimeter, to restore gratitude within the IMF program.
“Ukraine remains focused on a constructive communication with all interested parties and ongoing consultations to achieve fair and comprehensive adjustment of state derivatives, to ensure long -term stability, without creating a threat to the restoration and resurrection of the country,” the departure declined.
As we have written, more than 2024, Ukraine’s public debt for one year has increased by 1.4 trillion hryvnias. It is noted that Ukraine’s public debt is getting cheaper and longer.
