Over the past three years, Ukraine has received more than $ 133 billion financial assistance from international partners. On Thursday, May 22, financial minister Sergey Marchenko reported at a meeting with the financial minister of the Canada Francois-Philippines and Vice-Chancellor, German Lars Klinkbayle finance minister.
Marchenko noted that Canada and Germany were one of Ukraine’s support leaders since the beginning of an entire war in all possible directions.
According to him, the help from Germany was the second largest in the countries in the world and up to 17.3 billion euros, and Canada’s help was the fifth largest in the world and cost 10.3 billion euros.
Canada and Germany also supported the G7 period initiative (aid in Ukraine due to the percentage of frost Russian owners of $ 50 billion. Canada’s contribution is 5 billion dollars in Canada (about $ 3.4 billion). Ukraine has already received the first tranche – 2.5 billion dollars of Canada. EU contribution is 18.1 billion euros (about $ 20 billion). Ukraine has already received four branches with a volume of 6 billion euros.
Earlier, the National Bank appreciated the volume of international assistance in Ukraine until 2027. It would remain at a high level with a gradual decline during the forecasting while the economic situation was normalized.
