The Ukraine state border service has refused to hack the video monitoring systems on the border.
Ukrainian information systems, where video monitoring systems are connected to the border are no longer hack. This was announced by Ukraine Andrei Andrei Demchenko’s State Border Service representative in a commentary to supilchny on Thursday, May 22.
According to him, the GPSU has not received information from the border guards of neighboring countries about hacking cameras on border crossings.
The Ukraine State Border Service, which also has a video tracking system on the border, has also not recorded the hacking of systems.
He added that ongoing communication takes place at the level of even Ukraine border divisions with border units in local countries. The representative also pledged that the GPSU would share information if there was confirmation of such influence.
“If necessary, we can also provide all the necessary help,” Demchenko said.
The Guardian’s publication, citing British Intelligence, wrote that the Russian Gru unit allegedly “gained access to CCTV cameras on the Ukraine border to surprise and hinder the receipt of foreign assistance in the country.”
In his counseling record, the National Cybersecurity Center of Great Britain (NCSC) called private companies involved in helping, “take immediate steps for self -defense.”
It has been mentioned about 10,000 cameras that have been installed near “military facilities and railroad stations to monitor the movement of materials in Ukraine”, of which 80% are located in Ukraine and 10% in Romania. In addition, 4% of cameras whose attacks are directed are in Poland, 2.8% in Hungary and 1.7% in Slovakia.
