Payment of voluntary contributions – the ability to “earn retirement” to those with unofficial income, emphasized in the Ministry of Social Policy.
Ukrainians have paid nearly 65 million UAHs of voluntary pension funds voluntary premiums since the introduction of such an opportunity in March 2023. Contributions increase insurance experience and give you a big payment of pension when retiring. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy’s Press Service.
Such contributions can be paid both for yourself and other people. To do this, you do not need to visit state institutions and finish paper agreements, everything can be done online.
Paying for voluntary insurance premiums is an opportunity to make retiring with those with unofficial income. In fact, without paying ERUs, such a work period does not count on insurance experience.
For pre-retirment age people, who, because of the war, lost their jobs and could not find a new one, this opportunity was also relevant. If, for example, a year or two remains before the pension, close and relatives can help them with the required insurance experience, which pays at least a few contributions to enroll. The same applies to Ukrainians who went abroad.
Voluntary insurance contributions can be released both working (insured) people, and not working – over 16 years old.
The size of the pension depends on the official income, or rather the size of a single contribution is paid by a person during a professional life.
Earlier, Ukraine Volodymyr president Zelensky announced raising pensions in the spring.
