The state budget received 1.89 billion hryvnias for the privatization of the LLC Aero. The funds will be used to eliminate the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression, the State Property Fund announced on Thursday, January 23.
“Today we received funds for this facility now the new owner will be able to invest in a business that will develop the industry, create additional revenues for the local and state budget and provide people of new jobs,” said the acting director. Chairman of the State Property Fund, Ivanna Smachilo.
It is indicated that the privatization of the company Aero – the third successful online auction as part of a major privatization. The hotel has previously been sold Ukraine for UAH 2.5 billion and the United Mining and Chemical Company for UAH 3.9 billion.
On December 19, the State Property Fund held an auction for the sale of the state share in the amount of 100% of the authorized capital of the LLC Aero. This asset was previously owned by Russian oligarch Andrei Molchanov. The initial cost is more than 965 million hryvnias. The winner of the auction in the electronic system Prozorro.Sales became an LLC Trident Geoinvest Ukraine.
