Motorists have complained about automatic emergency braking systems that accidentally activate, increasing the risk of an accident.

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began inspecting 295,125 Honda vehicles. The reason was the automatic emergency braking of the vehicles, Reuters wrote on Monday, January 20.

The 2019-2022 Passport and Insight models will be involved in the inspection.

The investigation began after nearly 400 user reports of automatic emergency braking systems engaging unintentionally, increasing the risk of a crash.

In December 2024, Honda also had to recall 205,760 2023-2025 Passport SUVs in the United States due to fuel leaks.

It will be remembered that in November 2024, the American automobile company Tesla postponed approximately 2,500 Cybertruck electric pickups in the United States.
