The last month of the year turned out to be the most favorable: in December it was possible to increase steel production by 1.14% compared to November.
In Ukraine, by the end of 2024, domestic enterprises in the metallurgical industry produced 7.58 million tons of steel, which exceeded the number of 2023 by 21.6%. This was reported by Ukrmetallurgprom.
It was noted that the Ukrainian metallurgical enterprise produced 7.58 million tons of steel in 2024 compared to 6.23 million tons in 2023. The last month of the year turned out to be the most favorable: in December they managed to increase the production of steel by 1.14% compared to in November.
In January-December 2024, 7.09 million tons of cast iron were produced (118.1% compared to January-December 2023), the combined metal produced 6.22 million tons (115.8%).
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine rose from 21st to 20th place in the ranking of 71 countries, the largest steel producer.
