In January – September 2024, exports of goods from Ukraine reached $30.8 billion, which is 12.9% more than in the same period last year. Imports of goods also increased by 11%, reaching $51.2 billion. This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
“During the 9 months of 2024, exports of goods reached $30,838.5 million, or 112.9% compared to the 9 months of 2023, imports – $51,220.5 million, or 110.0%,” it said in the message.
The negative foreign trade balance was $20.38 billion, slightly higher than last year ($19.25 billion).

Imports grew in the categories of “electrical machines” (+30%), “reactors, boilers, machinery” (+28.3%) and “ground transportation” (+11.9%).
According to the State Statistics Service, trade was conducted with partners from 226 countries.
