The average dollar selling rate decreased to 41.60 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased to 45.05 hryvnia.
The cash exchange rate of the hryvnia strengthened sharply against the dollar and the euro after a long decline. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Thursday, November 7.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 10 kopecks to 41.60 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate immediately fell by 35 kopecks to 45.05 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.10 UAH, and euros for 44.30 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 41.39-41.41 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate on Thursday against the hryvnia for the fourth consecutive day, after which it approached the historical maximum – UAH 41.4562 (+0.0187 UAH). The highest rate was on July 22 – 41.4912 UAH/USD.
In turn, the euro fell in price on the global market after Donald Trump’s victory in the US election. In Ukraine, the official euro exchange rate today is 44.3374 UAH (-0.8129 UAH).
It was also noted that in October, Ukraine’s international reserves decreased for the second month in a row. Today they reached 36 billion 578 million dollars.
