In October, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with 16.3 thousand used cars imported from abroad. This is the smallest number of registrations of imported used cars per month this year, reports Ukravtoprom.
It was noted that compared to 2023, October registrations of used cars decreased by 23%. Compared to the previous month, this number decreased by 4%.
The largest share in this segment of the car market belongs to gasoline cars – 46%. It is followed by diesel cars – 26%, electric cars – 20%, hybrids and gas-equipped cars – 4% each.

In total, since the beginning of the year, almost 192.3 thousand used cars underwent their first registration in Ukraine, which is 14% more than in the same period last year.
We remind you that in October more than 5.8 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Ukraine. It was only 1% higher than the same month in 2023. The Japanese corporation Toyota lost its leadership in the number of new passenger cars sold in Ukraine in October. The French company Renault has become the market leader for new passenger cars.
As reported, since the beginning of the year, 215.6 thousand passenger cars (new and used) were imported into Ukraine. The number of these vehicles is 15% more than the same period in 2023.
