The hryvnia exchange rate fell again against the dollar in the cash market, but strengthened against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Wednesday, November 6.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks to 41.70 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks to 45.40 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.20 UAH, and euros for 44.70 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.43-41.47 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia for the third day in a row and to the maximum since the end of September – 41.4375 UAH (+0.0421 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 45.1503 UAH (+0.0086 UAH).
We remind you that the growth of the dollar is a global trend as a reaction to the potential victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election. Against this backdrop, prices of oil, gold and other commodities fell.
