In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased to the level of 41.46-41.48 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar for the third time in a row. The price of the American currency rose to its highest level since the end of September, according to data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, November 5.
The official exchange rate for Wednesday was set at 41.4375 UAH per dollar (+0.0421 UAH). The highest rate was on September 22 – 41.4445 UAH, and the historical maximum was recorded on July 22 of this year – 41.4912 UAH/USD.
The euro exchange for tomorrow increased a little – 45.1503 UAH (+0.0086 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 2 kopecks – at 41.46-41.48 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s closing.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks – 41.65 UAH.
It became known the day before that in October the population of Ukraine bought about $1.4 billion. This is a record volume of money for 12 years.
It was also reported that in October the NBU increased the sale of dollars to the highest since the beginning of the year – more than $3.4 billion.
