The average cash dollar selling rate increased to UAH 41.50, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 45.30.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia fell against the dollar and the euro at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, November 4.
So, in the morning the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks, up to 41.50 Hryvnia, the euro rate also increased by 10 kopecks, up to 45.30 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 41.10 UAH, and euros for 44.60 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.33-41.35 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
On Friday, the National Bank increased the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia on Monday – 41.2891 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0697 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 44.968 UAH (+0.1213 UAH).
Earlier it became known that in October the population of Ukraine bought 1.394 billion dollars. This is a record volume of foreign currency in 12 years.
It was also reported that in October the NBU increased the sale of dollars to the highest since the beginning of the year – more than $3.4 billion.
