In the interbank market, the American currency rose to the level of 41.19-41.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine has again reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar. This trend continues for the second day in a row, according to data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, October 15.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for Wednesday was set at UAH 41.2139 (+0.0176 UAH). In turn, the euro exchange rate continued to decrease – 44.9232 UAH (-0.0343 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency added 1 kopeck in value to 41.19-41.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate was stable and did not change at the end of the trading day – 41.45 Hryvnia.
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in the past week the National Bank sold a record amount of money.
