Commander of the Ground Forces Alexander Pavlyuk initiated an official investigation after the incident in the Asgard unit.
He wrote about this on his social networks on October 15 and stated that “justice will be ensured in accordance with the norms of current legislation.”
The day before, the Asgard unit released a video in which Alexander Dmitriev, represented as Pavlyuk’s adviser, threatens and humiliates military units.
The Asgard fighters said that the adviser to the commander of the Ground Forces, Dmitriev, threatens to “break the military over the knee.”
In 2023, ArmyInform called Tikhokhod a specialist in the issue of saturating UAV troops and noted that he is an adviser to the Minister of Defense and Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Pavlyuk. According to the fighters, Dmitriev threatened to “break the military over his knee” and humiliated their dignity.

In comments to the message about the military statement, Dmitriev denied the accusations. According to him, there will be an investigation, and “official sources” will comment on the situation. He added that the fighters were allegedly supposed to go into combat on October 14.
The Ukrainian Ground Forces stated that the incident will be thoroughly investigated. During the inspection, citizens are asked to “refrain from making an independent emotional assessment of this situation, which may be incorrect due to the lack of a complete amount of information and the contradictions of the available information.”
