In the interbank market, the American currency rose by only 1 kopeck – up to 41.18-41.20 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine slightly lowered the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar, but increased it against the euro. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, October 14.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 41.1963 UAH per dollar (+0.0072 UAH). Instead, the euro exchange rate fell below the psychological level of 45 Hryvnia – 44.9575 Hryvnia per euro (-0.0663 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency increased by only 1 kopeck – at 41.18-41.20 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate remained stable at the end of the day – 41.45 Hryvnia.
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in September the National Bank increased sales of foreign currency by almost 20% in the interbank market – up to $3.2 billion.
