Russia hopes for “close and fruitful cooperation with our Chinese partners,” Andrei Belousov said.
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov arrived on a visit to the Chinese capital and held talks in Beijing with the head of the military department, Dong Jun. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this on Monday, October 14.
During the meeting, Belousov said that Russia’s military cooperation with China is an important element in increasing defense capabilities, as well as “maintaining global and regional stability.”
Belousov also added that Russia hopes for “close and fruitful cooperation with our Chinese partners.”
In his assessment, “the close relations between Russia and China maintain a high dynamic of development, are expanding in all directions and are at an unprecedented level.”
“Regarding our cooperation and joint efforts, I think we can advance our military cooperation and open a new page here,” Dong Jun said.
Let’s remember that China is giving Russia “very significant” help to strengthen the Kremlin’s military machine in exchange for secret Russian military technologies of submarines and missiles.
