In the interbank foreign exchange market, trading ended at 41.17-41.19 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine slightly strengthened the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar after two days of decline. The euro exchange rate is falling further. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, October 11.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 41.1891 (-0.0181 UAH). And the euro is worth 45.0238 UAH (-0.0239 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 2 kopecks. Trading ended at 41.17-41.19 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 3 kopecks to UAH 41.52.
Remind us that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, since the beginning of 2024, the regulator has sold more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to one – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
