How does Jin feel about the song?

With the full version of “Super Tuna” released this Friday, the 11th; Find out what BTS’s Jin feels about the song!

This Friday the 11th,Jinby BTS, presented fans with the Special Video of the full version of “Super Tuna”, a trot song that was initially released through a short version of the track in 2021 during the idol’s birthday, celebrated on December 4th. Look!

The song, which talks about the love of Jin about fishing, was created as a form of negotiation so that the idol could have a moment of leisure with BOOMZUhis friend, known in the K-pop industry for producing tracks for groups like SEVENTEEN, SHINee, NU’EST and others.

“I really wanted to do a fishing song, but it was really an excuse to go fishing with BUMZU. We went after I suggested to the record company that the two of us fishing would make good content,” Jin told Weverse Magazine.

Additionally, on In The SOOP, Jin revealed more behind the creation of the track that brings the star under the trot genre for the first time and it took just 5 minutes to have the melody finalized, as Jin and BUMZU made the song on the boat while fishing.

“Our generation doesn’t have any good fishing songs to listen to on the road. And there’s a lot of serious talk going on lately, so I thought it would be cool to do a song that was kind of light and upbeat.”

The track soon became viral, with ARMYs of all ages and places around the world replicating the “Super Tuna” choreography on social media, in addition to producing several memes with the song.

What does Jin think of “Super Tuna”?

Since the presentation of “Super Tuna”, Jin seemed unsure about the song, as when showing a preview of the track on a VLIVE broadcast, he remained silent for a few seconds while covering half his face with his hand in a clear sign of shame; remember!

Then, in an interview with Weverse magazine, Jin asked fans not to perform the “Super Tuna” challenges because he had conflicting feelings about the song, but over time he began to better accept the track’s popularity.

“Honestly, I felt a little strange. It’s really difficult compared to the kind of high-quality music I’m used to releasing with BTS, so I wanted ARMY to be the only one to know about it. It seemed to me that ARMY thought, “I can’t keep this weird thing to myself,” and they were having fun spreading the news. So I gave up. (laughs) I saw ARMY say, ‘We’re allowed to dance.’ So I said, ‘Yes, you’re right – you do’ and I came to accept that.”

Still, with the release of the extended version, Jin once again appeared embarrassed by the track, as he asked in a live broadcast held last Thursday, the 10th, that fans not promote the song.

“Please don’t disclose it yet! And don’t do challenges! Please don’t do it! It would be cool if you guys just watched it and enjoyed it. To be honest, I watched the video and was a little embarrassed!” Jin said during the broadcast.

“My dear brothers Coldplay’s album has been released, so please listen to it once before listening to ‘Super Tuna’,” the idol added, asking fans to support their favorite band rather than his own release.
