The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to UAH 41.50, and the euro increased in price to UAH 45.78.
The hryvnia exchange rate fell slightly against the dollar and euro at exchange offices on the last working day of the week. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to market tracking data as of Friday, October 11.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 2 kopecks – to 41.50 Hryvnia. On purchase, the average rate is 41 hryvnia.
The average selling euro exchange rate increased by four kopecks – to 45.78 UAH. They bought cash currency at 45.15 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency remains stable at the level of 41.19-41.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling). Yesterday’s trade ended at these levels.
Yesterday, the National Bank slightly increased the dollar exchange rate for the second day in a row – UAH 41.2072 (+0.0138 UAH). The euro exchange rate continues to decrease – 45.0477 UAH (-0.0797 UAH).
Remind us that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, since the beginning of 2024, the regulator has sold more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to one – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
