Tesla announced a new unmanned electric car, Cybercab, planned to be produced from 2026, and an autonomous electric bus, Robovan.
The Tesla Cybercab, a new unmanned electric taxi, has been introduced in California.
The two-seat coupe has a sleek design that resembles a Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck from the front and rear, and a Model Y crossover from the side. The door lifts and the body is made of polished steel. There is no steering wheel or pedals in the cabin, and the autopilot is controlled via a central touchscreen.
Elon Musk announced during the presentation that the Tesla Cybercab will cost $30,000, but did not disclose technical details.
In addition, the Tesla Robovan autonomous shuttle with 20 seats was presented. There is no information yet about its features and release date.
It was previously reported that Tesla has recalled more than 27,000 Cybertruck electric vehicles in the United States due to a delayed image from the rear view camera.
