The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine rose to 41.44 Hryvnia, and the euro fell in price to 45.83 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate fell slightly against the dollar in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Wednesday, October 9.
So, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine increased by only 1 kopeck – to UAH 41.44. In buying, the average rate remained stable at 41 UAH.
The average exchange rate of the euro in selling fell by 3 kopecks – to 45.83 UAH, in buying – 45.44 UAH.
Today in the interbank market the American currency is at the level of 41.19-41.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling). It is 2 kopecks higher compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank slightly lowered the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia – 41.1756 UAH (-0.0205 UAH). Today’s euro exchange rate is set at UAH 45.2437 (+0.0227 UAH).
We remind you that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, from the beginning of 2024, the regulator sells more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
