The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine rose to 41.53 Hryvnia, and the euro fell in price to 45.89 Hryvnia.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar fell slightly at the exchange offices at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, October 7.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 7 kopecks – to 41.53 Hryvnia. Exchangers buy American currency at an average of 41.01 hryvnia.
The average euro exchange rate for sales fell by 6 kopecks and 45.89 UAH, for purchases – 45.35 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.18-41.20 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – 2 kopecks higher compared to the previous day’s close.
Earlier, the National Bank strengthened the Hryvnia exchange rate on Monday against the dollar – 41.1859 UAH (-0.0343 UAH). The euro is worth 45.4322 UAH (-0.0914 UAH).
Remind us that the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency for the second week in a row. In total, since the beginning of 2024, the regulator has sold more than $24 billion in the interbank market.
It also became known that the National Bank will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
